R.I.P.
I don't think I'm alone when I say I'm in shock today..
It feels like someone I know has gone. I'm an 80's child, and I grew up listening to, and idolising, Michael Jackson. I remember how my brother and I used to practise the Moonwalk, and we had this video tape with the Thriller video recorded from MTV (or even Super Channel) that we just loved to watch. When the family were on road trips we always listened to MJ, I think he was one of the few artists that we all liked. Thriller was the favourite, especially the last part whith the scary laugh, that we had to listen to over and over again with total excitement. We also used to play the video game, Moonwalk on Sega. This was the time when red leather jackets with hudge shoulder pads seemed completely natural, and white gloves sold out on all the pharmacies.
Those were the days.
You can say whatever you want about Michael Jackson, but nobody can take away the fact that he's the geatest performer of this time. He's enriched our part of music history like no other.
And he will always be the King of Pop.
Here's one of my personal favourites:
Also really LOVE this one!
I could post many, many favourites I guess.. Sitting here remenissing over Michaels videos, and there's such an incredible ammount of fantastic music.
What's your favourite MJ song/ video?

My style: Favourites
This is from the Opera roof, the most controversial building in Oslo. You can say positive and negative things about this place, but one thing's for sure; it makes a beautiful walk.
I'm basically wearing only favourites. My blazer, that I was very happy to find, since it looks very casual and I'm not exactly the most ladylike person. And the jeans, well..you've seen them before, and you'll see tham again. Loose tanks are my obsession, I can't stand to wear clothes that aren't comfy. Since this a an outfit I could wear just about anytime and anyplace, I'd say it's a favourie outfit:)
Wearing: Blazer from Zara, tank and chains from H&M, jeans from Gina Tricot, shoes from Din Sko.

Love the collection: Erin Fetherston
The more I look at it, the more I'm going Crazy over Erin Fetherston's collection for fall 09.
It's just so charming that I can't resist loving it.
Adore the silhouettes, and the details are lovely. Especially the stockings and the hats makes me smile.
Also, this collection has given me serious cravings for striped tights.

Pink Panter

Hanging around in the east side of town. My boyfriend's taking pictures of me, and I'm taking pictures of everything else. Lets just say we're making the camera work for it's price. Eating Tandoori, renting cheap videos, walking around, taking it easy and looking at life. This is the part of town where you can't stress. Everyone walks slowly. The pubs are on every corner, and they never close. This is where you get the best vegetables. And if you need a sari, you'll go here. Ore cheap phone cards, ore a satelite...ore anything not typical Norwegian. The best indian food, and the brightest colours.
Diversity.
This is Grønland. My favourite part of town.
I'm wearing: Pink pants from H&M trend, tank from Gina Tricot, cardigan from Cubus, flats from Din Sko, belt from H&M, shades from Ray Ban and shopping bag from Swag.
Art inspiration: Schiele

Egon Schiele.
He's one of my absolute favourite artists. I simply love his work, and especially this picture is for me extremely beautiful.
I must admit, he's not the only expressionist I'm a fan of. The early 1900 is an era that produced some remarkable art, and I personally is totally addicted to the expressionism.
Recently I've been thinking that I want to get more into my drawing and painting. So Even more than usual I'm looking at art, and trying to see and learn.
This is a picture I turn back to again and again, so that's why I wanted to show it to you.

Seaside
I prefer the beach when it's a bit chilly outside. That's where I can clear my head.
I'm wearing jeans from Gina Tricot, sweater from Bikbok, boots from Din Sko, Leather jacket from Zara and a vintage bag. DIY scarf, the easiest DIY job there is, just bought silk fabric and sew the edges by hand. It's become my favourite scarf, and I wear it all the time.
