The Madonna concert

Madonna - sticky & sweet tour

Madonna - sticky & sweet tour

Last night we saw Madonna live at Valle Hovin here in Oslo. Such a cool night for me, since I'm a huge fan! But also cool for everyone who was there, since her shows are in a league of it's own.
We got there to stand in line pretty early, so that we'd get close to the stage. God knows how broken and beaten my whole body feels today. Standing in such a tight crowd for so many hours are not for whimps, haha. But it was all worth it, of course.

And the show was amazing, especially the end ("Give it to me") were very good. Also adored the gipsy part of the show, with Rom dancing and a folk version of "La isla Bonita". I also got to hear two of my all time favourites, "Frozen" and "Get into the groove". But still I was just a little bit disappointed. You see we also saw her on the Confessions Tour in 2006. We actually went to Denmark to get to see her, and that concert were just completely out of this world. It was so spectacular I can't even describe it. I'm afraid this years concert couldn't live up the that standard. That said, we had a great time, and I'm sure it's not my last Madonna concert. Her shows are highly addictive.

The tiny camera that we brought weren't exactly super, but hope you like the few deasent photos I got.

1. I love to take walks by the rocky beaches in Oslo.
2. I always look up at trees.
I actually feel like they're holy in a way.
Looking up at them makes me calm.
3. My Sunday uniform has to be very comfy
(and I dress like it's Sunday on other days too..).
4. I adore the 80s.
5. My best friends name is Ruby.
She's a mixed breed, Cairn Terrier and Jack Russel Terrier.
6. I'm an animal lover,
volunteering at a cat shelter gives me a sense of purpose.
7. I see beauty everywhere.

That was 7 things about me..You see I got this "Kreativ Blogger award" from the lovely Indiana Adams of Adored Austin. And the rules said I'd have to say 7 things about myself. Now I guess it's up to me to nominate 7 creative bloggers to the award, so here they are:

My style: Moody

The last days have been so gray.. I really need the sun to come back, cause I have new and unused summer dresses just hanging in my closet wondering if I don't love them.
That said, I'd never miss the opportunity to dress dark.

Oh, and by the way.. My moody days might be coming to an end, cause I just realised it's almost the end of July, and in a few days my idol comes to Oslo!!!
Haha!!!

I'm wearing jacket and dress from H&M trend, tee from Zara, diy tights, boots from Din Sko and bracelet from Dyrberg/ Kern.

Soft layers

Last couple of days:
Gray weather, lots of rain, flowers are dying, insects are growing huge, been kinda ill, dreaming of travelling, almost decided to save money to go to the Dead Sea in springtime, been in a bad mood, watched too much TV, reading an incredibly exciting book called "Huset ved Moskeen" (don't know the English title but translated from Norwegian its "The house by the Mosque"), sleeping a lot, eating lots of fish and lots of chocolate (that's normal), tried to draw (didn't work out) and photoshopped myself.

The time you waste, aren't wasted.

Wearing a vintage silk blouse, leggings and long vest from bikbok, flat maryjanes and tote bought in Paris (memories makes them favourites).

Ebay earrings

Haha! My bf thinks I'm pretty dorky when I do stuff like this. I mean.. not when I buy stuff, but when I lay it on images and photograph it, while thinking to my self that I'm pretty funny..
Coming to think of it, he looks like he thinks that I'm quite dorky when I sit at night and do my ebay browsing too. It's the thing that I do when I can't fall asleep. I tell myself that scrolling through ebay will make me tired. It doesn't. It makes me obsessed. Lol.

Anyway..this week these earrings came in the mail. The shells are from Monet and the golden ones are from Givenchy. Both vintage. Both ebay. And both cheap. Hurray!

Let me introduce you to Caroline. This pretty young girl is related to me, and she came to visit us for a couple of days. If you are a guest in Oslo this is what you'll do: Go shopping, eat sushi, visit the Vigeland park, go to a rocky beach, see a movie and take a walk at Grunerløkka. At least that's what we've been up to, and we had a great time.
Off course I couldn't resist to play photographer. I mean stunning location + lovely girl + me with camera.. you do the math. It was so fun, she was the perfect model and I actually had trouble picking just a few photos for this post. I didn't want to bombard you with pictures either..
Hope she'll come back to Oslo soon, and when she does I'll probably try to get her to model for me again.

She's wearing a tutu dress and animalistic tights from H&M and ballerinas bought somewhere in Paris.
