Yesterday I attended Costume Awards, and it was pretty fun. A whole lot of well dressed people, celebrities and other exhibitionists. Red carpet and Champagne flowing, yeah it was a bit glamorous. I didn't bring my camera, I know, kinda stupid. But I was there to talk to and write about some of the guests, so I wouldn't have time to take that many pictures. As some of you know I write for Norwegian Fashion, and me attending this party was work related, but we did of course have our photographer there, and he shot many pictures of the good lookng guests, so stop by the NF site next week to see more.
Vanessa Rudjord, who is an Idol of mine (she's the Editor in chief of Costume) & Synnøve Skarbø.
Moods of Norway presented the award for best shoe store (Lille vinkel sko). These guys are really talented Norwegian designers, check out their site to see their fun style.
Marianne, a model who also works in a hot store in Oslo, called Koma.
I like her look, she's wearing a dress from Acne and shoes from Topshop.
Marte Krohg, the stunning Violinist and Fashionista.
Charlotte Torstvedt (MTV host), who was voted best dressed.
Charlotte Torstvedt (MTV host), who was voted best dressed.
Iselin Engan, who was voted best Norwegian designer. She was in the Norwegian version of Project Runway, she didn't win but she became very popular. Her feminine floaty dresses are always beautiful.
Kjell Nordstrøm & Cecilie Melli. Both designers.
Her er hans nye blogg.
I had a talk with Kjell Nordstrøm, the man behind "Baron von Buldog" and the new brand "Dobbermann und Dobbermann", and I must say he was the coolest person I talked with at the party. By that I mean, he's a real nice and friendly guy. He said that people don't work together as much as they should in tiny fashion Norway, and that if Norwegian design are going to survive, the people in the industry should cooperate more. That's a man with the right spirit, don't you think? His first collection under the new brand will be shown in September, and I really look forward to seeing it, as his work is always interesting. Here's his new blog.

Hei! :D
