Old magazine: Bjørk in Nylon 2001

My new favourite thing to do is to check out old magazines. I have actually saved a few goodies from "back in the days". Like this one, it's 8 years old, I must really have liked it to save it for that long. Everytime I move I have to get rid of a bunch of magazines, I live in a city where apartements are small and expensive, so I can't collect every magazine I have ever bought. But I have saved some, and it's pretty cool to look at them again. This editorial with Bjørk is from Nylon june/ july 2001. I think it's quite amazing, cause it might just have been today. Bjørk is innovative, and what she did 8 years ago would be just as hot today.
By the way, this really must be a long time ago, the price tag says 47 kr, today the price on Nylon is twice as much..

Oslo Fashion Week: Moods of Norway

"Coctail Travels" with Moods of Norway

Oslo Fashion Week ended with a huge party of a show from Moods of Norway. It was so fun, these guys really kows how to party. What's cool about Moods is that they have a very strong concept, they have really captured the Norwegian spirit with their brand. When we arrived it was like coming to the North Pole ore something, with lots f dogs and dogsleighs, there were even whale meat (not that I would ever eat that). The show was very Norwegian in that way that a typical Norwegian really likes to get drunk and act silly. Artists singing drunken songs "drita full før drøbaksundet" and the Pakistani tire baron Tommy Sharif singing Punjabi MC..hehe, yeah it was crazy. It wasn't a fashion revolution, and it wasn't very tasteful, but it was the most fun show during the whole fashion week. Unfortunately I didn't get to take much pictures, cause it was the 4th ore 5th show I attended that day, so I went out of batteries... But here's a few of the pics I did take..

I was so glad to se so all the girls who dressed fun for fashion week, I just had to photograh them.

This is my favourite from all fashion week. Look at her! Such a cool style, and she's so young.
She is the doughter of the designer Tina H, so she's got style through her blood.
This cutie is my new style icon.

Fun with Fam

The most fun show at Oslo FAshion Week so far, and I'm pretty sure no one will be more fun, was Fam Irvoll's show yesterday. The collection was inpsired by childhood and fairytales. There were also a really cool live performance by Miss Harmonica, that just added to all the fun.
