This collection is so delicate and clean, minimalistic and luxurious, I can only describe it as pure beauty. If you've followed Akris' collections the last years, you know that they often do looks where the models are dressed in one colour from top to bottom. I love that. It feels very clean and modern. The easiest way to do a look like that I'd say is with black, but it's so much nicer in softer colours. Like here. You can tell these clothes feels wonderful to wear, just look at all that silk and yersey. Heaven.
After all the strong, kinda crazy collections we've seen lately, all that glam rock, creative knits, sharp shoulders, and did I forget to mention the McQueen costume-ish collection with the mad shoes.. My brain is full. Full of noise. Not that I don't enjoy the above, but it feels good with some breaks you know. So now my eyes loves to rest on clean stuff. So to me The Akris ss 10 collection is close to perfection. Sigh.
