Soyaaulait

This is the first time Soyaaulait shows on fashion week. This designer uses inspiration and techniques from two worlds, Asia and Norway. The highlight for me was the prints. Loved the fresh colours. And I like the tulip shaped coats, very girly. But if I'm going to be critical I'll just have to qoute Olivia and say "too matchy- matchy". The styling could have been more interesting, maybe? Also I'd love to see the designer go a bit more crazy, but I can also understand that she is thinking about the customers, and the Norwegian market isn't excactly wild. All in all, pretty, but I think this girl has more to offer. And I'm looking forward to follow her future work.

Tina H

Here's some of my pics from Tina H's show. I was really looking forward to this collection, because Tina is really talented. As you can see her style is a combination between nostalgic and playful, and she has a special way of mixing fabrics, textures and colours. Her pieces just ooses of good craftmanship. I' d love to own some of her silky, glittery stuff. Imagine it styled with something rough like jeans or leather to give it contrast.. Sigh.

Fam Irvoll

Saw Fam Irvoll's show last night, and as always it was crazy fun.
Fashion show and circus in one. And concert.
Before the show it was pretty insane, a lot of people and confusing seating, I think it took one hour to get everyone seated, and even then people were standing in the back. Fam has become very popular, and that's not surprising since her shows are like parties. Very colorfull parties:)
Fam has been known for making childrens clothes for grown ups, but this season she also made a small collection for kids. The small catwalk models were probably the highlight of the show, everyone thought they were supercute.

Mardou & Dean

Mardou & Dean won the award "Nåløyet" yesterday.
Cool collection, huh?

Kristofer Kongshaug

Ok, so here's some of my catwalk pics from last night. These are from ss10 collections, so it's basically stuff that's hitting the stores right about now..or soon. I WANT the blue Nina Jarebrink maxi dress. Could use it every day of the summer I think.
Other than that I'm a fan of Tina H and Fam Irvoll. Both of them went to the same school as me, and they were amazing talents allready then. It's so fun to see how they evolve, inspiring hard working girls.
Saw some incredibly crappy stuff too..hehe. I'm not mentioning names. And I couldn't bear putting ugly pics on my blog. But I think I might have to do a fashion week gone wrong post, maybe.. Or maybe not, that's wouldn't be very nice would it..

The opening of Oslo Fashion Week

Tonight we went to the opening of Oslo Fashion Week. I brought Rob, and it was pretty cool. Mardou & Dean won the price "Nåløyet", and there were some runwayshows and stuff. But the highlight was when we were sitting by our table, the caterers kept putting plates of hour' derves there all the time, haha, guess we looked hungry. The prawns and salmon were great, and I've found a new favourite: Sparkling Rosé. Yum:)
Tomorrow starts the aw 10/11 shows, looking forward to check some of them out.

Wearing my new homemade maxi skirt, jacket from H&M trend, top from Gina T and boots from Din Sko.
